Eligibility Criteria

To apply for these positions, candidates must meet specific eligibility criteria. Firstly, only native residents of Madhya Pradesh are eligible to apply. This recruitment is strictly limited to the youth of the state, emphasizing local employment opportunities.

Candidates are allowed to apply for only one trade. If a candidate submits applications for multiple trades, all their applications will be disqualified. This ensures a fair selection process and allows more candidates to have a chance at securing a position.

Regarding educational qualifications, candidates must have completed their 10th standard and hold an ITI (Industrial Training Institute) degree from a recognized institution. Additionally, candidates must not have previously registered for an apprenticeship in any establishment, nor should they have worked in any organization for more than a year. The age requirement is set at a minimum of 18 years as of July 1, 2024.

Stipend Details

Selected candidates will receive a stipend during their apprenticeship period. For a one-year ITI apprenticeship, the stipend is set at Rs 7,700, while a two-year ITI apprenticeship will provide a stipend of Rs 8,500. This financial support makes the apprenticeship an attractive option for those looking to gain practical experience while earning.

Selection Process: Merit-Based with a Tie-Breaking Rule

The selection process for these positions will be merit-based, relying on the candidates’ CGPA (Cumulative Grade Point Average). In cases where two candidates have the same CGPA, the tie-breaking rule will favor the older candidate.

This recruitment drive by MPPGCL presents a valuable opportunity for the youth of Madhya Pradesh to secure stable employment without the stress of exams or interviews
