MP Teacher Bharti Protest: The selected teachers of Higher and Secondary Teacher Recruitment 2018 have been struggling for their appointment for the last 6 years.

Now these waiting teachers will reach Bhopal in thousands and protest for their appointment on 5 September, Teachers’ Day (MP Teacher Bharti Protest).

Thousands of posts vacant even after second counseling

State convener of Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 passed candidates association Shyamlal Ravidas said that Higher and Secondary Teacher Recruitment has been going on for nominal posts for the last 6 years.

In which even after the first and second counseling, thousands of posts are still vacant in all subjects.

High Court order also not followed

Virendra Patidar of MP Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 Passed Candidates Association said that cases are filed in different benches of Lehar High Court regarding teacher recruitment 2018. In many cases, the decision also came in favor of the candidates.

The High Court Jabalpur has several times directed the Education Department to give quick appointments to eligible candidates on the remaining vacant posts as per the rules. Despite this, the department did not start the third counseling.

Candidates are becoming overage

Lilendra Mehra of Madhya Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 Passed Candidates Association said that about 12000 posts have been put on hold by the department. Which could have been filled by third counseling.

Many candidates of 2018 recruitment are on the threshold of being overage. In such a situation, their future now looks bleak. The government should take care of us.

This is the demand of Teacher Eligibility Test 2018 Passed Candidates Association

  1. The vacant posts of neglected subjects like Hindi, Urdu, Science, Social Science and Sanskrit should be increased in secondary teacher recruitment.
  2. Increase in the posts of Hindi, History, Geography, Agriculture, Sociology, Biology, Commerce, Chemistry in Higher Secondary Teacher Recruitment.
  3. Selection list should be released for the total remaining 2,237 posts of all categories under secondary teacher recruitment.
  4. Selection list should be issued for the total remaining 5,935 posts of all categories under Higher Secondary Teacher Recruitment.
  5. Appointment letters should be given to the remaining eligible candidates while completely stopping repetition of names.

.Permanent teacher recruitment of 2018 should be completed before permanent teacher recruitment 2023.

The department has said that the recruitment is complete

In the case of class 1 teacher recruitment 2018, the School Education Department has said in the MP High Court that the recruitment of 2018 has been completed by the department.

This clearly means that the department is not going to make recruitment in the case of 2018 on its own. However, the hearing of the case is going on in a double bench. The final decision has to be taken by the High Court.
