Fuji TV has announced that the series will premiere nationwide in Japan on October 11, 2024, with a time slot on Fridays at 11:40 p.m. JST. Each episode will run for approximately 40 minutes, with the premiere episode extended by an additional 10 minutes. Additionally, the first episode will be previewed at Daimatsuri in Japan on October 6, 2024, before its television debut.

Yuichi Nakajima, Fuji TV’s programming director, commented, “All episodes of Dragon Ball Daima are complete. Since it’s a new project, we want it to be broadcast nationwide. Previously, Dragon Ball aired on Sunday mornings, but that was not a nationwide network slot. We are aiming for a time that both Dragon Ball fans and the target audience can easily watch.” He added, “We hope to establish the image: ‘This is anime on Fuji TV, after all.'”
