On October 7, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut in Maharashtra said in Mumbai that Ladli Behna Yojana has been closed in MP. In support of his statement, Raut also mentioned the letter of the Finance Secretary of MP.
Truth behind the claim of the scheme being shut down
Regarding the local newspaper cutting that went viral on social media and which created this controversy, the Madhya Pradesh Public Relations Department has already clarified in its DPR Fact Check section that the news is completely fake.
Neither from the website of FDMP i.e. Finance Department of Madhya Pradesh nor from any other source, any such circular or order has come to light till now in which there is any mention of a ban on the CM or Ladli Behna Yojana.

CM Mohan Yadav gave this answer

Regarding the Ladli Behna Yojana, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has made it clear that we cannot even think of closing the scheme. Ever since we started the Ladli Behna Yojana, we have worked to give money to 1 crore 29 lakh sisters of the state every month, on time.

Retaliating to Raut’s statement, CM Mohan said that due to fear of defeat, the people of Shiv Sena (UBT) are trying to mislead the voters in the Maharashtra elections. I would like to tell all my voters once again not to believe in such false conspiracies.

Mahila Morcha filed a complaint

Overall, there is no concrete evidence about whether the Ladli Behna Yojana (MP Ladli Behna Yojana) is being closed or any such planning is going on.
